A first in Western Japan! Nature experience activity "Sudate Asobi" (fisherman's cuisine included)
"Sudate Asobi" is a game in which you enter a net set in shallow water to catch fish, and was enjoyed as a pastime by the wealthy in Tokyo Bay during the Edo period. This is an activity that is unique to the Kansai region and can only be enjoyed in the shallow waters of Hannan!
Grab a dip net and head into Sudate to catch fresh seafood from Osaka Bay. You can take home what you catch. This activity takes place at low tide, so even small children can enjoy the experience safely.

■Itinerary
① Please gather at Nishi Tottori Fishing Port by the meeting time.
② We will lend you tools such as nets and explain how to use them.
③ Wear a life jacket and waistband that fits your body.
④Go to the sandy beach where you will be playing Sudate.
⑤Walk through the sea until you reach Sudate.
⑥Catch living creatures with nets. (This includes seafood caught by fishermen.)
7. The fishermen and staff will kill the fish you caught.
8. Observe the creatures you collect and explain their types.
9. Experience fisherman's cuisine and experience the richness of Osaka Bay through seafood!
■About meals
・Local fish set meal: "fried oysters" + daily special
・Children's set meal: "Fried food (fried shrimp, fried chicken, etc.), French fries, mini rice ball" + daily special (includes miso soup and 500ml bottled tea)
★The ingredients used are mainly from Hannan City, including the rice!
★The oysters we use, along with hijiki, wakame, sea bream, and horse mackerel, are freshly caught by fishermen and are certified "Osaka-mon."

You can enjoy a close-up look at genuine paintings, primarily Japanese paintings, without having to look through glass cases. There is also a cafe and gallery.

Senshoji Temple
QuanzhouSenshoji Temple was originally built on the ruins of Ayai Castle, and is known as a temple with a moat, a vestige of the castle. Even though it is a temple, it issues "castle seals," which have become popular. (One seal costs 300 yen.)

Masaki Art Museum
QuanzhouThe museum houses a valuable collection of calligraphy and tea ceremony-related items, including works by the Heian period calligraphers Ono no Michikaze and Fujiwara no Yukinari (both national treasures), as well as a painting of Sen no Rikyu at the age of 62 (Important Cultural Property).

Special edition of the Danjiri hut tour
QuanzhouThis walking tour takes you around the Danjiri sheds where the Danjiri floats are stored in Kishiwada City, and takes you to spots where you can experience the history of Danjiri and Kishiwada. At each Danjiri shed, you can hear the instruments used in the actual festival up close, and see the carvings, known as running art, up close, offering experiences you can't get at a regular Danjiri festival.
