Osaka University Museum
The museum displays academic specimens that Osaka University has collected and stored since its founding, and also presents the university's latest educational and research results in the form of an exhibition.
Basic information
The permanent exhibition displays the history of Osaka University from Kaitokudo and Tekijuku, the spiritual origins of Osaka University, to the current Osaka University, as well as the various researchers who played an active role throughout that history and their achievements, the nature and history of Machikaneyama, where Osaka University's Toyonaka Campus is located, and the fossil of the Machikane crocodile excavated on Machikaneyama.
