Takatsuki Jazz Street and Tomita Jazz Street
Takatsuki Jazz Street was launched in 1999 with the aim of making Takatsuki a fun town filled with music. It is held for two days every year during Golden Week, and will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2023. It is one of Japan's largest handmade music events, with admission to all venues free.
Basic information
The biggest feature of Jazz Street is that all venues are free to enter, and are planned and run entirely by volunteers. A wide variety of people gather, from students to seniors, including shop owners, office workers, and housewives. The organizing committee, made up of volunteers, handles many tasks, from coming up with ideas for events to fundraising and negotiating with musicians to perform. On the day of the event, volunteers also help run the venues, direct traffic, sell T-shirts, and sort trash at the ECO booth. In 2025, Takatsuki Jazz Street is expected to attract approximately 70,000 visitors, while Tomita Jazz Street is expected to attract approximately 20,000.

Ibaraki City Christian Relics Museum
HokusetsuOpened in 1987, the Ibaraki City Christian Relics Museum is located in the Senjiji district, famous as the "Hidden Christian Village." Senjiji and the Shimootowa district were once the territory of Takayama Ukon, a famous Christian feudal lord. Even after Christianity was banned by the shogunate, believers continued to preserve the relics. This only came to light during the Taisho era. Numerous Christian relics were discovered in this area, attracting worldwide attention. The Christian Relics Museum exhibits the history of Christianity in Ibaraki and the relics that have been discovered.

Sojiji Temple
HokusetsuThis is a Koyasan Shingon sect temple whose principal image is a hidden statue of the Thousand-Armed Kannon Bodhisattva riding on a turtle's back. Every year between April 15th and 21st, the temple holds an opening ceremony for the hidden statue. The temple's founder, Fujiwara Sankage, is celebrated as the founder of Japanese cuisine due to the tradition of Sennichi-ryori cuisine, and every year on April 18th, a Yamakage-style knife ceremony is held.

Ama site park
HokusetsuAma site park is a large park the size of five Koshien Stadiums, located close to both JR Takatsuki Station and Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station. Various events are held here throughout the year, and the park is visited by approximately 1.5 million people annually.

Imashiro Daio no Mori (Imashirozuka Tomb, Imashirozuka Ancient History Museum)
HokusetsuImashiro Daio no Mori is a public park that combines Imashirozuka Kofun Park and the Imashirozuka Ancient History Museum. Its symbol, Imashirozuka Kofun, is one of the largest keyhole-shaped tumuli in the Yodo River basin, with the mound alone measuring 181m in length, and including the surrounding double moat, boasting a total length of approximately 350m and a total width of approximately 340m. This tumulus is said to be the tomb of Emperor Keitai (the great-grandfather of Prince Shotoku), built in the first half of the 6th century.
