This is one of the world's largest ethnological museums, focusing on cultural anthropology and ethnology, and allowing visitors to experience the lives and cultures of people around the world. It displays approximately 12,000 items of everyday life, such as ethnic costumes, collected from around the world, and shows videos introducing ceremonies and performing arts. The main building's exhibits are divided into nine regional exhibits, as well as cross-cultural exhibits on music and language, and special and planned exhibits are also held from time to time.
