Unraveling the secrets of Japan's ancient nation in Osaka
The museum, designed by Tadao Ando, focuses on the history of the early days of Japan's ancient state. It is currently undergoing renovations until March 2026, and is scheduled to reopen in April.

The vast 29-hectare park preserves the Isuga Kofun Group, one of Japan's most representative clusters of burial mounds. Of the 102 tombs, 40 have horizontal stone chambers that can be visited. The colorful scenery of the four seasons, including plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, and autumn leaves, is also attractive. Admission is free.
