A rare experience at a manufacturing site
The company offers an experience of making rice balls using a rice ball mold inspired by Mt. Imori, which was developed using the same technology used in automotive press dies, as well as lunch in the company cafeteria and a tour of the Kanagata factory.
Basic information
This metal processing and manufacturing company is headquartered in Daito City, Osaka Prefecture. They primarily manufacture press dies for cars, producing all kinds of parts such as hoods and doors for famous car models. They are considered one of the companies that support local industry. Myojo Metal Industry Co., Ltd. has developed the "Imori Onigiri Mold," which comes with a set of "convex" and "concave" shapes. You can make onigiri and have lunch in the company cafeteria, inspired by Mt. Imori, one of Daito City's tourist attractions. This is a rare experience at a manufacturing site.

④Rice ball making experience
Place the furikake in the lower die, then place 120g of rice on top and press down to complete the rice ball.

Osaka National Treasure Three Kannon Temples Pilgrimage (only on April 17th and 18th, 2026)
KawachiMinamikawachi is one of the areas in Japan with the largest concentration of national treasures, and is home to three temples, Katsuragi-ji Temple, Domyo-ji Temple, and Kanshin-ji Temple, which enshrines the national treasure Kannon Bodhisattva as their principal image.
In 2026, in addition to the usual date of April 18th, the principal images of all three temples will be opened to the public on the day before, the 17th, and this will mark the occasion of the creation of the "Osaka National Treasure Three Kannon Pilgrimage."
By touring the three temples, you will be able to experience the rich history and culture of Minami Kawachi. -
