Enjoy a meal at a tangible cultural property designated by Kishiwada City
This restaurant is housed in a Japanese-style building constructed in the early Showa period on the site of the former Kishiwada Castle New Teahouse. Guests can enjoy kaiseki cuisine while looking out at the Japanese garden.
Basic information
Located on the site of the former new teahouse within Kishiwada Castle, this expansive garden with an area of 7,500 square meters allows visitors to enjoy the changing seasons. In addition to the main building, there are three teahouses that are an elaborate example of Japanese architecture, and the thirteen-story stone pagoda associated with Lord Nobunaga, the water basin that reflects the harvest moon in mid-autumn, and the decorative stones that are now difficult to obtain recall the prosperity of a local zaibatsu. The garden is open to the public, and you can stroll around freely.
