Basic information
Isaka Brewery
Founded in 1818, this brewery prioritizes quality over mass production. Using traditional hand-made methods, they bring out the inherent flavor of sake while also incorporating modern tastes. From November to April, they maintain the traditional winter brewing method, with Tajima master brewers handling everything in-house, from washing the rice to brewing and pressing. Their main brand is "Miwa Fuku," which has been granted special permission to use the name by Miwa Shrine in Nara Prefecture, known as the god of sake, and has even won a gold medal at the National New Sake Tasting Competition. Other brands include "Danjiri," named after the Kishiwada Danjiri Festival, and "Rokko Oroshi," popular among Hanshin Tigers fans.
