Let's all go back to our youth! Fun school lessons and a schoolyard BBQ
This event will take you back in time to your school days and allow you to experience classes in the former Fukanokita Elementary School classrooms, which are also used as locations for morning dramas and famous TV shows. After attending a teacher's class and touring the school grounds, you can enjoy a luxurious BBQ in the schoolyard.
Basic information
■Contents [Time-travel BBQ experience plan at the former Fukanokita Elementary School]
① In the classroom, you will receive a lecture on Active Square Daito and BBQ in a classroom-like setting.
②We will conduct short quizzes and take commemorative photos.
3. Campus tour (sumo ring, etc.)
*If you are using the bring-your-own plan, please bring your own BBQ ingredients and drinks.
■BBQ contents (please bring your own food if you are planning to bring your own)
・Misuji (top sirloin), thick-sliced pork belly, garlic chicken, sausage, grilled vegetables, curry rice, edamame beans, tea. Necessary equipment such as a sunshade tent, stove, charcoal, tongs, and table are also available.
■Preparations
・Sunshade tent, BBQ stove, table, and 2kg of charcoal will be charged separately.
*Please bring your own tongs, chopsticks, plates, etc. Tableware will also be available for purchase on the day.
■ Flow of the day
1. Classroom-style explanation of facilities and plans (BBQ, etc.)
② After the explanation, there will be a short quiz related to the museum and a commemorative photo in the classroom (approximately 20-30 minutes including ①)
3. Campus tour (approximately 15-20 minutes)

Shishikutsuji Temple: Special Exhibition of the National Treasure Wooden Seated Yakushi Nyorai Statue

Osaka National Treasure Three Kannon Temples Pilgrimage (only on April 17th and 18th, 2026)
KawachiMinamikawachi is one of the areas in Japan with the largest concentration of national treasures, and is home to three temples, Katsuragi-ji Temple, Domyo-ji Temple, and Kanshin-ji Temple, which enshrines the national treasure Kannon Bodhisattva as their principal image.
In 2026, in addition to the usual date of April 18th, the principal images of all three temples will be opened to the public on the day before, the 17th, and this will mark the occasion of the creation of the "Osaka National Treasure Three Kannon Pilgrimage."
By touring the three temples, you will be able to experience the rich history and culture of Minami Kawachi. -
