Harvesting the legendary Yao Edamame beans and enjoying a BBQ in a traditional Japanese house
You will experience harvesting edamame at Asai Farm, which produces the mystical "Yao edamame" that can almost only be tasted locally. Why are Yao edamame so delicious?! We'll reveal the secret! Afterwards, you'll enjoy a BBQ filled with edamame, including grilled edamame and edamame rice, on the wooden deck terrace in the courtyard of Chakichian, the Hagiwara family residence, a nationally registered tangible cultural property. As a souvenir, you'll receive approximately 300 grams of the edamame you harvested and an edamame recipe directly taught to you by the farmer!
