History / culture
In conjunction with the reopening of Toyonaka Rose Baseball Stadium (Sone Minamimachi) in December 2024, the "Toyonaka Museum: Birthplace of High School Baseball" will open on the first floor of the stadium. Visitors can see up close valuable materials such as panels conveying the history of high school baseball, which began at the Toyonaka Grounds, which were formerly located on the west side of Hankyu Toyonaka Station, as well as autographs and uniforms from schools that have participated in the Koshien tournament across the country, and pennants from the Osaka Prefecture tournament.
