A winery and a yakiniku restaurant, both of which have honed their skills over many years, will come together on the same stage to present their proud pairing of beef and wine. There will also be a special tour of the winery, led by the fourth generation owner of Kawachi Wine, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary since its founding.

This is a collaborative plan that combines the experience of knife-making with the taste of Japanese cuisine in Sakai, a city with a 600-year tradition of cutting edge craftsmanship. First, learn sharpening techniques and other techniques from a craftsman at Wada store Shoten, a long-established Japanese knife maker, and create your very own knife. Next, you will be given a private room at Mochizuki Ichimi-an, a long-established Japanese restaurant, where you will enjoy a lecture on how to use Japanese knives from the head chef and savor some of their specialty dishes. This is a special experience that will allow you to gain a deeper understanding of Japanese knives.

After being guided by a Shinto priest through Konda Hachimangu Shrine, said to be the oldest in Japan, you will receive instruction from Akira Matsuda, a four-time winner of a Japanese sweets competition on a TV program, and experience making your own original Nerikiri Japanese sweets. We hope you will enjoy making colorful, soul-soothing Japanese sweets! You can enjoy infinite variations and beautiful gradations by changing the colors.

Konda Hachimangu Shrine is known as the oldest Hachimangu Shrine in Japan. This is a rare experience where you can rent out the treasure house of Konda Hachimangu Shrine which has a history of over 1,000 years, and hear a talk from the chief priest. Afterwards, you will enjoy a haniwa bento lunch and a tasting of Hinomaru sacred sake. You will also experience the Goryoin seals of 17 imperial tombs and visit the tomb of Emperor Ojin.

Yu Darvish's mother, Ikuyo, still lives in Habikino. It has been 30 years since she took young Yu Darvish by the hand to take him to and from nursery school. Why not join us on a tour of Habikino (a town with both a Japanese Heritage Site and a World Heritage Site), a place filled with many memories for Ikuyo and her eldest son?

If you head west along Takeuchi Kaido, the oldest national highway in Japan and a registered Japanese Heritage site, you will come across Shiratori no Miyako Tomb, one of the components of the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group, a registered World Heritage site. You will tour the area around Emperor Ojin's tomb, the largest in volume in Japan, with a private guide, and at the Furuichi Imperial Tomb District Office, you will have the seals of 17 imperial tombs stamped on them.

Heading west along Takeuchi Kaido, Japan's oldest national highway and a Japan Heritage Site, you'll come across Shiratori no Mausoleum, one of the components of the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group, a World Heritage Site. With a dedicated guide, you'll tour three other imperial tombs, as well as Nonaka-ji Temple, which displays the Gilt Bronze Maitreya Bodhisattva Half-Knee Statue on the 18th of each month.

You will experience joining haniwa excavated from the Furuichi Kofun Group, a World Heritage Site, with an explanation from a curator, visit the Habikino City Cultural Property Exhibition Room and the Konda Shiratori Haniwa Production Site, and enjoy a view of the Furuichi Kofun Group from the roof of City Hall. In the afternoon, after enjoying a haniwa bento lunch, you will create your own one-of-a-kind original haniwa.
