One of Osaka’s most oldest park that was officially specified as a municipal park by the city in 1873. Since then, the beautiful pine groves were carefully nurtured while creating even more new spots at the same time. A popular all-purpose park for many people, with its pool with the giant slide and the rose garden.

Wheelchair users: If you are coming by car, there are four wheelchair accessible parking spaces in Parking Lot 2 and four wheelchair accessible spaces in Parking Lot 4. There are also three shared parking spaces in Parking Lot 3, which you are welcome to use.
Exit the west exit of Hamadera Park Station on the Nankai Main Line, walk west for 150 meters, and cross the traffic light to reach the entrance to the park.

Route to the park, entrances and exits, and park management office

1. Routes and entrances

The nearest station is Hamadera Station on the Hankai Line, but please be aware that there are steps when getting on and off.
The photos show travel from Hamadera Park on the Nankai Main Line and Hamadera Station on the Hankai Line to Hamadera Park.
The road to the park is flat and paved.
The nearest entrance is a turnstile, and some of the car stops have been removed to make it barrier-free (opening hours: 9:30-17:30).
2Park Management Office

The park management office is located on the left side of the main entrance to the park.
The entrance to the office is a swing door, so please ask a member of staff if you need assistance.
Wheelchairs are available for loan at the park office.
There are also multi-purpose toilets and nursing rooms.

Park Path, North Children's Playground, South Children's Playground, Takaishi Children's Playground

1Park passage

Many of the paths in the park are paved and flat.
There are also many pine trees planted to provide shade from the sun, so you can enjoy the park even during hot seasons.
There are turnstiles at the entrances from the roads near the management office and the parking lot.
2 North Children's Playground

The North Children's Playground has a play area for children aged 3 to 6 and a play area for children aged 6 to 12.
There are vending machines, toilets and rest areas nearby.
3 South Children's Playground

The Minami Children's Playground has a play area for children aged 3 to 6 and a play area for children aged 6 to 12.
There is a rest area nearby.
4 Takaishi Children's Playground

Takaishi Children's Playground has a play area for children aged 3 to 6 and a play area for children aged 6 to 12.
This is a steep slope and the ground is dirt.

Hamadera Waterway and Transportation Park

1 Hamadera Waterway

There is a slope leading down to the Hamadera Waterway near Toilet No. 11 in Hamadera Park (between the No. 2 Rubberball Baseball Field and the Softball Field). There are also several other slopes.

There are plenty of rides that are popular with children, including the "Go-Kart" that adults can ride in and that you can drive on a 760m highway course with hills and curves, as well as a panda battery car. The go-karts, which have steering wheels in the booster seats, allow you to experience the feeling of driving, making them a big hit with children! Enjoy driving with all your might, cutting through the wind in the midst of nature.

4 traffic amusement park

For railway fans, the facility offers a nostalgic display of the chinchin tram (Hankai Electric Railway Mo 121 Series No. 130), a preserved exhibit of the freight steam locomotive D51, affectionately known as Degoichi, and a health support corner with measuring equipment such as Kagome Vegi Check and blood pressure monitors, making it a facility that can be enjoyed by a wide range of people, from children to adults.

Rose Garden and Fluffy Dome

1 Rose Garden

The garden, where beautiful roses bloom in the pristine landscape of Japanese mountains and fields, is a rare sight even in Japan and is one of Hamadera Park's most representative view spots. The garden also features a waterwheel and a traditional Japanese house-style rest area, allowing you to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of a Japanese garden.

The garden is home to 6,000 roses of 500 varieties, including wild roses native to Japan and modern roses. We have a selection of fragrant varieties so that you can enjoy the roses with all your senses, and you can enjoy their sweet, noble fragrance. The roses bloom in two seasons: spring (early May to early June) and autumn (early October to early November), and volunteer guided tours are also available. In addition to roses, you can experience nature and flowers of all seasons, such as peonies and magnolias in spring, crape myrtles in summer, red spider lilies and Japanese silver grass in autumn, and wild bird watching in winter.

The Fuwa Fuwa Dome is an inflatable dome that allows children to have fun jumping, bouncing, and sliding around.

*It is dangerous to use the Fuwa Fuwa Dome when it is wet, so maintenance will be carried out after rain or if there is night dew. Please note that it takes time to complete the maintenance, so the start time may be delayed or the end time may be earlier.
