Flower Expo Memorial Park Tsurumi Ryokuchi

This urban park was redeveloped on the site of the former EXPO '90 "International Garden and Greenery Exposition." The approximately 123-hectare site features a large pond in the middle where migratory birds can rest, and still retains the original pavilions and gardens, such as the "Sakuyakonohanakan," which displays 2,600 species and approximately 15,000 plants cultivated in greenhouses, the Japanese garden, the International garden, and Hanamizuki Hall (Tsurumi Sports Center). The park also features a horse riding park, ball and sports fields, a heated swimming pool, recreational facilities such as a barbecue area and campsite, and facilities for learning about environmental issues, such as a nature experience observation garden.

*4: Installed in each parking lot. If you have an official certificate such as a disability certificate, the maximum parking fee for 24 hours will be 300 yen upon presentation of the certificate. Discounts will be available from operators at the exit gate. Route from the station

Route from Station 1

①After exiting the ticket gate at Tsurumi Ryokuchi Station, please go up the slope on the left side. It is 230cm wide.
*There is an incline, so it may be a little difficult for self-propelled wheelchairs.
②Go up the slope next to the Tsurumi Ryokuchi Pool. Width: 250cm
*The distance is longer and the slope is steeper than the first one.
③After going down the slope, go to the right and cross the traffic lights to arrive at the park.
2. Routes within the park

The path within the park is paved with asphalt.
From the central gate, there is an asphalt-paved slope leading to Windmill Hill. (However, due to the steep slope, it may be difficult for self-propelled wheelchairs.)
*The entrance to the Nature Experience Observation Garden is dirt from the middle of the path.
