Hanazono Chuo Park

This pleasant space invites you to enjoy seasonal flowers, sports, and arts.

A verdant park on the north side of Higashi-Hanazono Station, Hanazono Chuo Park has a square filled with cherry blossoms and a pond covered with irises as well as a number of facilities for sports and cultural activities. The children's culture and sports center Dream 21 hosts an interactive exhibit where kids can learn about everything from the creation of the earth to the state of modern science. Other exhibits include a single star ball-style planetarium and a sports hall with athletic-style playground equipment. The center is hugely popular as a place where dreams flourish and the powers of the imagination grow. The citizens' art center to the south of the Higashiosaka City Hanazono Rugby Stadium holds local artist exhibitions as well as special exhibitions, project exhibitions, and lobby concerts. The park grounds also contain a multipurpose open space for ball games and other activities, a dog run where dogs can run freely, stone monuments, fountains, and other park necessities, creating a space where people can relax and engage. True to the name hanazono (lit. "flower garden"), the park is a place to enjoy seasonal flowers like cherry blossoms and irises. Rugger Station, which is modeled after the Galactic City sports stadium, has all sorts of playground equipment and is hugely popular with children.
