Hyoutan-Yama Station
Hyotanyama is the name of a station on the Kintetsu Nara Line in Higashiosaka City. Nearby attractions include Hyotanyama Tumulus, Hyotanyama Inari Shrine, and the Hyotanyama Central Shopping Street. The keyhole-shaped burial mound dates back to the 6th century and resembles a gourd, giving the area its name. The site is part of the Yamabata Tumulus Cluster, which contains over 60 burial mounds. The shopping street known as "Sunroad Hyotanyama" was established in 1947 and became Japan’s first arcade built over a national road in 1948.
