Nishikinohama Park
Nishikinohama Park was established in 1951 as a park where visitors can enjoy sea bathing. By train, it is about a 15–20 minute walk from Nankai Line Nishikinohama Station. By car, there are four parking lots (Lots 1–4) with a fee of 640 yen per visit. The park is divided into three areas: the Central (Sawa) Area, the Sports Area, and the Coastal Greenbelt Area. The Central (Sawa) Area is the largest and includes the Shōfū Plaza zone with preserved pine-grove scenery, a central zone with a rest house, and a Shiosai-no-Mori zone with trees. Here you can enjoy swimming and BBQs. The Sports Area has facilities such as tennis courts and a softball field, along with changing rooms and showers. The Coastal Greenbelt Area offers activities like personal watercraft and BBQs. Marine sports are also popular—SUP and canoe experiences can be enjoyed even “hands-free” (equipment provided), making it a very popular spot.
