Newly opened in summer 2019, Dotonbori’s PINK KAWAII CAFE !
＊KAWAII means “cute” in Japanese. A whole subculture developed around this concept.
Looking out along the Dotonbori River is a not-so-inconspicuous pink cafe, where you can experience Japan’s KAWAII culture. So, we brought along a couple of our foreign friends to give it a try!

Concept
This cafe is centered around the concept of a fashion show by dolls (staff). Unlike a maid cafe, where everyone is dressed in the same uniform, the girls serve customers in their own, unique outfits.

Other menu options include stuff like decorated cupcakes, a mysterious color-changing drink, they have so many cute items available♪

Neither course has a time limit, so you can relax while you talk with the dolls. Talk with each of them and ask them about fashion or whatever’s on your mind!
