Kamigata ukiyo-e, known overseas as “Osaka Print,” is world-famous partly because Van Gogh owned several pieces, and because works are held in collections such as the British Museum and the California Museum. At the Kamigata Ukiyoe Museum, you can also buy postcards with many designs and original goods such as tote bags. Admission is 500 yen, and 300 yen for junior high school students and younger. The ukiyo-e production experience on the 4th floor is divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, and reservations must be made at least three days before your desired date.
