Hankyu Osaka Umeda Tourist Cente
Hankyu Tourist Center Osaka-Umeda is a tourist information center located on the first floor of Hankyu Railway’s Osaka-Umeda Station, which has the second-highest number of passengers in Osaka. It provides support in four languages—English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, and Japanese—so it’s a good place to stop if you run into trouble during your trip. The center offers brochures not only for Osaka but also for Kansai-area destinations served by Hankyu lines, such as Kyoto, Kobe, and Takarazuka, which you can take freely. Free Wi-Fi is available, and there are also fee-based PCs and printers, making it convenient for researching travel information on your own. They can also lend you a Wi-Fi router. The “Hankyu All-Lines Free Pass” is a good deal—¥700 for a 1-day pass and ¥1,200 for a 2-day pass—so if you plan to sightsee in places like Kyoto or Kobe, you might consider purchasing it here.
