Experience the rich nature and history of Kawachinagano
Kawachinagano City is located in the southeastern tip of Osaka Prefecture, at the southernmost point of the Kawachi area. With the Kongo Mountains to the east and the Izumi Mountains to the south, approximately 70% of the city is covered by forest, making nature close at hand. The city is intersected by roads such as the Koyasan Koyakaido, Osawa Highway, and Amano Highway, and is dotted with historic temples. Experience the richness of nature and the scent of history.

1. Osaka Prefectural Flower Garden
Flowers of all seasons bloom in competition on an area three times the size of Koshien Stadium!
A vast botanical garden where you can encounter seasonal flowers. There are a variety of gardens and facilities scattered throughout, including a rose garden, a clematis garden, and a large greenhouse.

This famous inn in Okukawachi, designed by architect Kingo Tatsuno, who also designed Tokyo Station and Osaka City Central Public Hall, offers a day trip plan where you can savor kaiseki cuisine made with seasonal ingredients. You can enjoy your meal in the privacy of your own room, and there is also free access to the hot springs.
3Amanosan Amanosan Kongoji Temple Spring National Treasure Special Opening
This year, the famous temple known as Nyonin Koyasan will be holding a special exhibition of national treasures!
This is the head temple of the Omuro school of Shingon Buddhism. On April 17th and 18th, the Golden Hall, built in the late Kamakura period, will be open to the public for a special viewing of the National Treasure Trinity (the Seated Statue of Dainichi Nyorai, his attendants the Seated Statues of Gosanze Myoo, and the Seated Statues of Acala). Don't miss this opportunity.
4. Koyakaido Sake Brewery Street
Enjoy local sake and cuisine while strolling along the quaint cobblestone streets
Located on a corner of Koyakaido that leads from Kyoto to Mount Koya, this restaurant is directly operated by a sake brewery and is located in the former Saijo Partnership Limited store, a nationally registered tangible cultural property. Enjoy some sake and food at this restaurant. After your meal, take a stroll along the illuminated street to work off your meal.
