2. Auntie's House in Senshuhama

Locally caught conger eel and wakame seaweed are sold as additive-free side dishes.

The shop is filled with exquisite products made by the "aunties of Senshu Beach" using ingredients delivered directly from producers. Senshu wakame seaweed is made into tsukudani (simmered food), Senshu mahachi seaweed is pickled, deep-fried, and made into fisherman's miso, and conger eel is teriyaki and made into conger eel sushi. These are great to eat on the beach or as souvenirs.

3. Experience making lightly pickled eggplant

Let's try lightly pickling Senshu water eggplant, which is popular nationwide!

Mizunasu, which is characterized by its high water content and round shape, can be pickled in rice bran with your own hands. After washing the Mizunasu in electrolyzed water, rub it with salt and then pickle it in rice bran. After leaving it for half a day, it will turn into a light-tasting pickle similar to a salad.
