Sakai Rikyu no Mori Historical Moat VR "Time Trip Sakai"
When you put on the VR goggles and stand on the circular table, the streetscape of the medieval moated city of Sakai is reproduced in 3D on the hologram table inside the goggles. This is an experiential content that allows you to view the video from any angle.

Sakai Cityさかい利晶の杜は、堺ゆかりの二人の人物、千利休と与謝野晶子をテーマに、堺の特色ある歴史文化を広く発信する文化観光施設です。展示だけでなく、椅子席でお抹茶と和菓子を味わう立礼茶席や、茶道三千家の指導のもとお茶を点てる茶室お点前体験をお楽しみいただけます。また、令和3年より新しく加わった体験コンテンツVR体験「タイムトリップ堺」では、VRゴーグルをかけると中世の環濠都市・堺のまち並みを自由な角度からお楽しみいただけます。

御茶一服 ～千利休のふるさとで本格的な茶の湯体験～
Sakai City千利休屋敷跡に面して建つ三千家の家元から命名された茶室で、堺市内の名店の味を堪能いただきます。食事の後は、千家の茶人が目の前で点てる濃茶と薄茶を召し上がっていただきます。５人以下でご参加の場合、食事の後、茶庭を通り躙り口から千利休ゆかりの四畳半茶室・無一庵で体験いただく事もできます。（オプション、晴天時のみ）。茶扇子と懐紙の他、特別にオリジナル風呂敷をプレゼント。

Sakai City千利休が修行した堺の禅寺、南宗寺の老師から命名されたお茶室（立礼茶席）での茶の湯体験です。初めての方でも楽しむことができます。立礼茶席では、表千家・裏千家・武者小路千家のお点前により、イス席で堺のお抹茶と和菓子（生菓子）を味わっていただけます。

Sakai City三千家の家元から命名された本格的なお茶室での茶の湯体験です。初めての方でも楽しむことができます。茶道三千家の指導のもと、にじり・正座・床の観賞・お菓子やお茶のいただき方などの茶の湯の作法を体験するだけではなく、実際にお客様自身がお茶を点てることもできます。※原則1ヶ月前までに予約を完了していただくことが必要となります。

Sakai City千利休作の茶室で唯一現存する国宝「待庵」の創建当初の姿を復元した「さかい待庵」”文献から得られた研究成果に基づいて、現代の職人たちが堺の地に蘇らせた「さかい待庵」の内部を、茶室内に入って空間を体感していただくことができます。北野大茶湯の利休四畳半茶室の復元「無一庵」もあわせてご見学いただけます。
