Basic information
With the theme of "The History of Osaka City," you can learn about the differences between modern times and the past through diorama and model exhibits that allow you to actually step into the past. Osaka Castle and Naniwa Palace are located in the surrounding area, and while you can experience the history of the Warring States period at Osaka Castle, you can also explore the history of Japan's first planned city at Naniwa Palace, allowing you to enjoy the history of Osaka, including the surrounding facilities. Special and planned exhibitions are also held from time to time.
