Basic information
Enjoy the world of tea ceremony in a relaxed atmosphere! This tea room was built with great care by the master of sukiya-style construction, Meisho Ogirodo, and was relocated from Shiba Park. It is a registered tangible cultural property of the country. At Sakai City Tea Room "Shin'an," we offer a tea ceremony service where anyone can enjoy matcha in a relaxed atmosphere. Tea is served in a tatereiseki (chair seating).
Please feel free to come in your everyday clothes. Please drop in as a rest stop during your sightseeing tour of Sakai or visiting the ancient tombs.
