Yoshimoto Manzai Theater
A theater that is the starting point for young Kansai comedians
We hold variety shows and live performances featuring Yoshimoto's top recommended young comedians as well as popular comedians.
Basic information
Opened in December 2014, this theater is the starting point for young Kansai comedians who will one day expand their activities from Osaka to the rest of the country. It is located in Namba, the center of Osaka's youth culture, right in front of Namba Grand Kagetsu. It has produced many award-winning performers, including M-1, King of Conte, R-1, and THE W. Many future star candidates are affiliated with the theater, so one of the joys of the theater is finding your favorite comedian. If you want to see energetic young Kansai comedians, be sure to come to Mangeki!

Osaka CityIt is well known that Toyotomi Hideyoshi welcomed Sen no Rikyu to enjoy the tea ceremony, and it is said that Osaka Castle and the tea ceremony have a deep connection. "Toyomatsuan" was donated to the city of Osaka by Panasonic founder Konosuke Matsushita in 1969, and was named after the characters "Toyo" (Toyo) and "Matsushita" (Matsushita). The spectacular view of Osaka Castle from the "Castle Room" is particularly impressive and well worth a visit.
