Osaka-jo Gozabune Boat
A sightseeing boat that takes you around the moat and offers a view of the famous castle from the boat
From the boat, you can look up at Osaka Castle Museum, the tallest stone walls in Japan, the talismanic stone face, and even see the daimyo's engravings up close, creating a truly impressive sight. This sightseeing boat lets you experience the depths of Osaka's history while experiencing the world's most famous castle.
Basic information
The current stone walls were built by the Tokugawa Shogunate, and 64 feudal lords from the northern and western provinces were involved in their construction. Made using 100 huge granite blocks, the stone walls are considered to be one of the world's most impressive stone structures.
