The current stone wall was built by the Tokugawa Shogunate, and 64 feudal lords from the northern and western provinces were involved in its construction.

Osaka CityOsaka Castle will be holding a special event titled "Special Opening of the Osaka Castle Yagura Yagura, an Important Cultural Property, 2025," from March to November 2025, where the interior of this ancient structure, designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan, will be open to the public.

MIRAIZA Osaka Castle
Osaka CityMIRAIZA Osaka Castle was built in 1931 as the headquarters of the 4th Army Division, at the same time as Osaka Castle Museum. After the war, it was used as the Osaka Prefectural Police headquarters and later became the beloved Osaka City Museum for many years. After the museum closed, it was renovated in 2017 and reborn as a complex with shops, cafes, restaurants, and a museum. With a prime location right in front of the tower, it is a facility where you can enjoy a leisurely meal and shopping.

Kaiyodo Figure Museum Miraiza Osaka Castle
Osaka CityLocated next to Osaka Castle, the museum has a variety of areas where you can enjoy over 3,000 pieces of art created by Kaiyodo, a pioneer in Japanese figure production, over 40 years.
