This is the Ichinomiya Shrine of Izumi Province, dedicated to the enshrined deities Yamato Takeru no Mikoto and Otori no Muraji Oyagami. Its auxiliary shrines are Otori Minamihi Shrine, Otori Kitahama Shrine, Otori Hagoromohama Shrine, and Otori Ise Shrine, and its subordinate shrine is a four-shrine combined shrine. The shrine is a Myoshin Taisha listed in the Engishiki Jinmyocho (list of Shinto shrines), and is particularly known as a shrine for praying for disaster prevention and rain, attracting worshippers from all over the country. The main shrine is Otori-zukuri, a unique style of gabled roof and front entrance hall second only to Taisha-zukuri.
