"Sumiyoshi Town Walk" with a Sumiyoshi History Guide
You can experience a town walk that touches on the history and culture of the Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine grounds as well as the surrounding area. In addition to the regular town walks, we also offer "custom-made town walks" guided to your requests. ①Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine grounds (90-minute course)
Start in front of Soribashi Bridge → Chozuya (water purification fountain) and square torii gate → Main shrine → Obunko (library) → Jinguji Temple ruins → Oumi Shrine → Tanekarisha Shrine → Nankinsha Shrine → Goshogozen and Ishibutai Stage → Onda (rice field) → Finish in front of Soribashi Bridge
There are also 60-minute and 120-minute courses available.
②Taisha area course (South course 90 minutes)
Start at Sumiyoshi Taisha Budokan → Site of Ikkyu Zenshi's Shosaian → Site of Fujisawa Kan'o's Residence → Sumiyoshi Imperial Palace → Otoshisha Shrine → Asazawa Shrine → Maruyama Daimyojin Shrine → Finish in front of the South Torii Gate of Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine
There is also a 90-minute North Course.
3. Tezukayama Area Course (90 minutes)
Start at Tezukayama Station on the Nankai Koya Line → Tezukayama Tomb → Tezukayama Gakuin → Takaya Family Home → Bandai Pond → Former site of Osaka Women's University → Stroll through the residential district → Finish at Tezukayama Station, etc.

MIRAIZA Osaka Castle

After the war, it was used as the Osaka Prefectural Police headquarters and later became the beloved Osaka City Museum for many years. After the museum closed, it was renovated in 2017 and reborn as a complex with shops, cafes, restaurants, and a museum.
