From the boat, you can look up at Osaka Castle Museum, the tallest stone walls in Japan, the talismanic stone face, and even see the daimyo's engravings up close, creating a truly impressive sight. This sightseeing boat lets you experience the depths of Osaka's history while experiencing the world's most famous castle.
Basic information
The current stone walls were built by the Tokugawa shogunate, with 64 daimyo families from northern and western Japan participating in their construction. Made using over 100 massive granite blocks, the walls are considered a world-class stone structure.
