The museum introduces the history and culture of Sakai through many exhibits and videos, as well as artifacts excavated from the Mozu Kofun Group, a World Heritage Site. A commemorative event for the reopening will be held from April 1st (Wed) to April 5th (Sun).
Basic information
The free admission zone of the museum is popular for its "Mozu Kofun Group Theater," where you can experience the grandeur of the Mozu Kofun Group through video. The permanent exhibition displays items excavated from the Mozu Kofun Group, Keicho era matchlock guns, Sakai rug looms, and more, introducing History / culture of Sakai through the ages.
