A cruise tour that takes you around Osaka's three major floodgates and two canals that you don't normally get to see!
At the Tsunami and Storm Surge Station, the "Exhibition Hall" allows you to acquire accurate knowledge about the storm surges that have hit Osaka in the past, as well as the Tonankai and Nankai earthquakes and tsunamis that are said to be certain to hit Osaka in the near future. You will also receive a guided tour where you will learn how to respond in the event of an earthquake or tsunami. The guide will guide you through the tour while watching a video of the three major floodgates as seen directly above from the boat. Upon landing, you will receive a 1,000 yen meal coupon that can be used at Taisho Tugboat.

・Meet at 9:50am Osaka Metro Awaza Station Exit 8 (Chuo Line/Sennichimae Line)
・10:00 Tsunami and Storm Surge Station (approx. 60 minutes)
*A guide will guide you through the museum. (15-20 minute walk)
・11:30 Departure Cruise around the Three Major Water Gates (Ipponmatsu Kaiun)

Taisho Inner Port - Kizugawa Canal - Kizugawa Water Gate - (approx. 105 minutes)
*You cannot actually experience the floodgates, but you can scan the QR code at the floodgates and watch a video to guide you through.
