The impressive collection is full of highlights
The museum houses a valuable collection of calligraphy and tea ceremony related items, including the "Sen no Rikyu Picture" (Important Cultural Property) of Sen no Rikyu at the age of 62.

In addition to the regular spring exhibition, there will be a special exhibition of the National Treasure "Daito Kokushi's Calligraphy: Keirin Ge and Nangaku Ge."

The refreshing view from the castle tower is a must-see!
This castle was renovated by Toyotomi Hideyoshi's uncle, Koide Hidemasa. From the castle tower you can get a panoramic view of Kishiwada city.

Kishiwada Castle, which is normally closed until 5:00 PM, is open to tour participants at night. From the illuminated Kishiwada Castle tower, you can get a panoramic view of Kishiwada city. (Excluding weekends during the Castle Festival.)

On Saturdays and Sundays during the Castle Festival, there will be an exhibition of Senshu products, food trucks, and stage events.

A festival with over 300 years of history and tradition
It began in the mid-Edo period when the lord of Kishiwada held an Inari festival to pray for a good harvest, and is a festival representing the Senshu region that boasts a history and tradition of over 300 years.

Experience the charm of Danjiri no matter the season
You can experience the charm of danjiri through a real danjiri exhibit, an immersive theater, experiences with instruments such as drums, and even a carpentry experience.

An experience you won't get at a regular Danjiri festival
This walking tour takes you around the Danjiri shed where the Danjiri floats are stored in Kishiwada City, and visits historical spots. There is also a course to visit carvings related to Toyotomi!

Wear the happi coats of each town in the Kishiwada Danjiri Festival, try out the sounds (drums and bells) on the 4th floor of the Danjiri Hall, and take a commemorative photo on the roof of the danjiri in the carpentry experience corner! During the festival (the second weekend of September), it is held in the Kishiwada Castle Gardens.

During the Edo period, the Kishiwada Domain was home to ninjas of the Koga sect. Speaking of ninjas, shuriken is a must-have. Come experience making a shuriken-shaped hand spinner and create your own original shuriken. After making it, take a commemorative photo in the Kishiwada Castle Gardens.

Wear realistic armor and stroll around Kishiwada Castle feeling like a warrior. Once you've put on the armor, you can stroll around Kishiwada Castle and Ninomaru Square. You can also take photos.

An ancient shell mound temple with national treasures from the Kamakura period
This Jodo sect temple inherited the Kannon Hall and Buddhist statues of Kannonji Temple, which was founded by Gyoki in 726. This year marks the 1,300th anniversary of the founding of its predecessor, Kannonji Temple.
