Special light-up to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the second generation Tsutenkaku Tower
To commemorate its 70th anniversary, Tsutenkaku Tower will be illuminated in a special purple light-up to symbolize its milestone. The purple Tsutenkaku Tower, floating against the night sky, will add a new splash of color to the Shinsekai district and showcase its appeal as one of Osaka's most iconic tourist landmarks.
Basic information

1. NANKAI Group commuter pass holders will receive free admission to Tsutenkaku Tower observation deck.
To commemorate the 70th anniversary of its opening, we are offering free admission to Tsutenkaku Tower observation deck for three days, on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 1,000 customers each day who hold a NANKAI Group commuter pass. On December 27, 2024, Tsutenkaku Tower Tourism became part of the NANKAI Group. Tsutenkaku Tower and the NANKAI Group, which have walked hand in hand with the development of Osaka for many years, are collaborating to express their gratitude to everyone who uses the line, and invite you to enjoy the view from Tsutenkaku Tower on this special 70th anniversary occasion.

From Wednesday, October 28, 2026 to Friday, October 30, 2026 (3 days) *Limited to the first 1,000 people each day

(3) How to use
If you are a holder of a NANKAI Group commuter pass, you can present your valid commuter pass and identification documents at Tsutenkaku Tower 1st floor ticket center on the day of your visit to receive a reservation ticket (free admission ticket) for Tsutenkaku Tower observation deck on that day, allowing you to enter free of charge.
*Depending on the crowd situation on the day, we may not be able to accommodate your preferred entry time. Please allow ample time for your visit.

2. We will give away novelty items to the first 100,000 customers to commemorate our 70th anniversary.
To commemorate the 70th anniversary of its opening, starting October 28, 2026, we will be giving away commemorative novelty items to the first 100,000 visitors who enter Tsutenkaku Tower Observatory. Distribution will end once the planned quantity has been reached.

- Those who purchased admission tickets to the observation deck at a ticket machine or counter.

- Those who have exchanged their Osaka Amazing Pass or Osaka e-pass for admission tickets to the observation deck.
• Those invited free of charge
- Admission tickets for attractions other than the observation deck, such as the Tower Slider and DIVE & WALK, are not included.
