Comment from Editor-in-Chief Murakami Shingo: When I heard about the idea of creating a new form of tourism, I was delighted to hear that they had a unique idea for me that utilized my experience in entertainment and agriculture, and that was the deciding factor for me to get involved. We would like to explore how digital (NFTs, etc.) can be used not only as a convenient tool, but also as something enjoyable, and how to provide tourism that puts customers first. They see the potential in unknown technology and share the desire to pass on the culture and spirit that Japan has woven to the next generation, who will one day take over. In addition, rather than creating tourism in a one-way manner as has been done up until now by adults, we would like to evolve the way tourism is done so that we can create the local products and places that the people of each town know best, together with people of all ages, including children.
