Tombori River Cruise is a sightseeing boat tour operated by Ipponmatsu Shipping that travels along the Dotonbori River, passing under nine iconic bridges. Established in 2005, the 20-minute cruise offers an entertaining introduction to the history of Dotonbori, guided in the Kansai dialect. The boarding point for the Tombori River Cruise is the “Dazaemonbashi Pier,” located near the entrance of Don Quijote Dotonbori Store, which is marked by a distinctive yellow Ferris wheel. The ticket booth is right next to the store entrance, and tickets are sold only for specific departures—only same-day tickets are available. The fare is 1,000 yen for adults and 400 yen for children. Preschool children are free for up to one child per adult.
