In Kishiwada City, the Danjiri Festival is held in two parts: September (Kishiwada district, Haruki district) and October (Higashi-Kishiwada district, Minami-Sakamori district, Yagi district, Yamanae district, Yamanae-Minami district, Yamataki district).

In every town that has a danjiri (festival float), roles are assigned to each age group, from children to the elderly, and each person shares their responsibilities to run the danjiri festival.
