The Nemophila Festival is held in Maishima, located next to Yumeshima, the site of the Osaka Expo, and overlooking the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in the distance.
This is a major spring event where you can enjoy the pleasant sea breeze and admire the nemophila flowers blooming in the vast area of approximately 44,000 square meters.
The event is held from April to May when the nemophila flowers are at their best, painting the entire hill a deep blue with the vast ocean of Osaka Bay.
The harmony of the clear blue sky is a spectacular sight that you'll want to capture in a photo.

This year's Nemophila Festival will be open until sunset only on weekends and holidays.
You can enjoy the nemophila flowers shining in a fantastic way different from daytime, illuminated by the setting sun of Maishima, which has been selected as one of the "100 Best Sunsets in Japan."
Additionally, the "Kitchen Car Festival in Maishima" will be held at the same time within the park.
Approximately 12 food trucks from all over the country will gather, allowing you to sample a variety of gourmet foods.
