Basic information
The cherry blossoms at Expo'70 Commemorative Park, which has been selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Viewing Spots, are in full bloom throughout the park, with approximately 5,500 trees of 12 different varieties.
This year, we will once again be holding events related to cherry blossoms under the title "SAKURA EXPO".
Enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms scattered throughout the park, centered around the approximately 100 cherry trees lining Higashi-oji Street, which stretches for about 200 meters.
Additionally, during the festival period, the "SAKURA Food Court" (scheduled from Thursday, March 26th to Sunday, April 5th) will be held in the festival square with free admission.
Approximately 20 to 40 carefully selected restaurants will add to the festive atmosphere of the cherry blossom viewing event.
Regarding the annual "Higashioji Cherry Blossom Illumination," the date will be determined based on the cherry blossom blooming status in the park. We will announce the date again on the park's website and official social media accounts.

*A separate admission fee for both the Natural and Cultural Gardens and the Japanese Garden (260 yen for adults, 80 yen for elementary and junior high school students) is required.
*From April 1st, 2026 (Wednesday), the price will be revised to 450 yen for adults (high school students and older) and free for children.
