Basic information
The plum groves, located in two locations, the Natural and Cultural Gardens and the Japanese Garden, boast an overwhelming number of varieties, with approximately 140 varieties and approximately 680 plum trees in full bloom, even among the Keihanshin area.You can enjoy varieties such as "Kasugano," which has red and white flowers on a single branch, and "Kurehashidare," a representative weeping plum variety that looks as if it is raining from the sky.
During the Plum Festival, various related events will be held, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the charms of plums, including plum wine tasting, plum sweets for sale, plum workshops, and tea tastings while viewing the plums.
