To Osaka by train and Shinkansen

The Shinkansen is convenient from the Tokaido, Sanyo, and Kyushu Shinkansen lines, and the Hokuriku Shinkansen and limited express trains are also convenient from Hokuriku. If you use the Shinkansen, the terminal is Shin-Osaka. Osaka Station is the key station for accessing the city, and JR and Osaka Metro run frequently between Shin-Osaka Station and Osaka Station every 5 to 10 minutes.

The very affordable "Seishun 18 Ticket"

The "Seishun 18 Ticket" is available for sale during the spring, summer, and winter holidays. It is a one-day pass that allows unlimited use of JR rapid and local trains. One ticket can be used for five days (per person) and costs 12,050 yen. Relaxing on the train, enjoying the scenery from the window, and savoring the ekiben (boxed lunches) is a great way to create memories when you come to Osaka.

Drive to Osaka

To get to Osaka by car, you can take the Meishin Expressway, the Chugoku Expressway, the Nishi-Meihan Expressway, and the Hanshin Expressway, which runs through the city. The key point when driving in Osaka is the Hanshin Expressway. The circular route that goes around the center of the city allows you to access neighboring cities.
