NMB48
Inaugurated in September 2020. Following AKB48 in Akihabara, Tokyo, and SKE48 in Sakae, Nagoya, this idol group has expanded to Osaka. The name "NMB" comes from the initials of NaMBa, the group's home base in Namba.
They began activities on October 9, 2010. Their concept is "idols you can meet." They perform at the NMB48 Theater in Namba, Osaka.
As of June 4, 2019, the number of theater attendees has exceeded 500,000.
It will celebrate its 11th anniversary on October 9, 2021.
