Pop Culture Girls Trip: Visiting the Seven Lucky Gods of Osaka
[Imamiya Ebisu Shrine (Ebisu God)]
This was my first time at Ebisu Shrine. When you hear "prosperity in business" in Osaka, it makes you think that prosperity is inevitable. I prayed fervently.

[Daijobo (Bishamonten)]
I quite like going to shrines regularly, and when I pray I reflect on myself, it makes me stand up straighter.
- 3-6-13 Nipponbashi Naniwa-ku, Osaka
[Shitennoji Temple Hoteido (Hotei)]
Surprisingly, the local goods available vary depending on the atmosphere of the temple. Some have Kewpie dolls, while others have really cute votive plaques. Collecting goshuin stamps is popular right now, isn't it? Collecting the seven goshuin stamps of the Seven Lucky Gods is fun, like a game, and I think it might even help you learn a little about Osaka's geography.
- 1-11 Shitennoji Tennoji Ward, Osaka City
[Osaka Seven Lucky Gods]
The Seven Lucky Gods Pilgrimage is a sacred site made up of seven shrines and temples: Imamiya Ebisu Shrine, Okuninushi Shrine, Daijobo, Hoan-ji Temple, Shitennoji Hoteido Temple. You can start your Seven Lucky Gods Pilgrimage at any of the shrines and temples. Just tell the shrine office that you would like to "Pilgrimage to the Seven Lucky Gods of Osaka" and pay 1,500 yen for the colored paper and 300 yen for the goshuin (temple seal) to receive the colored paper and map.
