Japan's largest manga museum, just 45 minutes from Osaka, is filled with precious manga!
The Kyoto International Manga Museum houses over 300,000 manga materials, ranging from Edo-period caricature ukiyo-e prints to magazines from the Meiji, Taisho, and early Showa periods, postwar rental books, current popular works, and even works from overseas. 50,000 of these manga volumes are available for unlimited reading! The remaining 250,000 valuable materials are also available for viewing for research and investigation purposes. In addition to its vast manga collection, the museum also hosts exhibitions and events such as original artwork displays, creator talk shows, manga production demonstrations, and cosplay events. Located just 45 minutes from Osaka, it's a must-visit for manga fans.

- From JR Osaka Station, take the Kyoto Line to Kyoto Station, transfer to the Kyoto Municipal Subway, get off at Karasuma-Oike Station, and walk for about 2 minutes. Alternatively, from Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station, take the Hankyu Kyoto Line to Karasuma Station, transfer to the Kyoto Municipal Subway, get off at Karasuma-Oike Station, and walk for about 2 minutes.
