About 200 m from Semboku Rapid Railway Izumigaoka station. Osaka prefectural large-sized facility Jidokan that is commonly called BIG BANG opened in June 1999. The directionis from "An epic journey story of Bearu and Merou who are the visitors from the space" which is by Matsumoto Reiji who is a derector of this facility and a writer of famous animation such as The Galaxy Express 999 and Space Battleship Yamato. This facilities supports s creation of "play and culture for kids". You can enjoy space through the play such as, display of real H-I rocket engine's jet and a astronaut Mukai Chiaki's space suit, warp capsule, and electronic zoo, creative studio, and so on at large space of 1st floor, second floor, and 3rd floor in this building. There is an area which reproduce about a street in Showa 30 years,and time toy collections are owned by Osaka prefecture at 4th floor where the outside appearance can imagine about spaceship. There is a semicircular spherical shaped theater, and play equipment's tower which has 53 meters high are at neighboring to the main building.also in the building can experience for workshop, and sweets cooking.
