Ebisu Okami is the god of prosperity in business and industrial development. Karasunomiya is also known as Ebisu Daikoku Fuku.
During the Ebisu Festival, rituals are performed to obtain the deity Ebisu's blessing. At the festival, prayers are said for prosperity in business, family safety, traffic safety, a balance of happiness and prosperity, as well as wish fulfillment.
