Osaka-Jo Hall

A multi-purpose arena with a maximum capacity of 16,000, built to commemorate the 400th anniversary since the construction of Osaka Castle. Sporting events and concerts are held here. Its restaurant has great views of the cherry blossoms of Okawa River in April.

The largest hall in western Japan, consisting of an arena hall with a maximum capacity of 16,000 spectators and a gymnasium-style hall with a capacity of 500, located within the lush green Osaka Castle Park approximately 500 meters northeast of the donjon. It was built in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of the construction of Osaka Castle, and its biggest feature is that it can provide a venue for a wide variety of events, including concerts, sporting events, exhibitions, ceremonies, and conventions. In the adjoining building there is a convention hall with about 159 square meters of floor space that can be used for all kinds of workshops, seminars, interviews, discussion sessions and examination venues; Jomi hall of about 827 square meters that can be used as exhibition halls; and a meeting room. The restaurant inside the complex is under the direct management of Hotel New Otani Osaka, and in April, a view of beautiful cherry blossoms along the Okawa River can be seen from its windows.
