The Osaka International Peace Center "Peace Osaka" opened in 1991 within the Osaka Castle Park. It's ropened as a peace museum to hand down the Osaka Air Raids to the next generation. They exhibit the materials relating the war experiences focusing on the Air Raids of Osaka people to remember the victims of Osaka Air Raids and hope for peace. There is a Library as well as a Visual Section, where various materials can be checked out including books on wars and world peace, panels and picture-card shows on peace education, and videos. In the Auditorium with a capacity of 250, many events are held such as showings of animations and other movies as well as lecture sessions and concerts.
