The museum that collection・conservation・display of documents which is related to history・fine arts・archeology・folklore in Sakai. It was built in the corner of the Daisen park as project of municipalism 90 anniversary in 1980. The Mausoleum of Emperor Nintoku ancient tomb Sakai city has many huge ancient tombs represented by, there was prospered as corporate town・trade city which was managed by powerful merchant who was callesd Egoshu in the Middle Ages. In the culture, it is known as the place that was crowned with success of tea ceremony by Senno Rikyu.
