A gigantic wholesale district under the elevated Hanshin Expressway. The buildings, numbered one to ten, continue for about one kilometer east and west from Midosuji Honmachi, with total floor area of 170,000 square meters, and are packed with about 1,000 stores selling textile products, shoes, watches, jewelry, etc. Buildings one to three comprise the Hakurai Mart where 61 stores sell items from daily commodities to famous brand-name products that are directly purchased from 124 countries around the world. Buildings four to nine are occupied by mainly textile wholesalers, but in the recent years, there seems to be an increase of retail shops. Building ten is mainly retail. There is also an abundance of restaurants in the first and second basements. Has excellent accessibility, with Honmachi Station of Midosuji and Chuo lines and Sakaisujihonmachi Station of Sakaisuji and Chuo lines directly connected to the buildings.
